Show CROWD INTO SURPRISE. j Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Borg of this city reached their 25tJ, or silver, wed- ding anniversary last Saturday. Early in the evening, accompanied by their daughters, Misses Dorothy and Louine Borg, they motored to Richfield and to the home of their son, Kenneth Borg. Little did the "bride and groom" of 25 years ago suspect what awaited them, and their surprise was genuine. A group of sixteen, children and immediate im-mediate relatives, escorted the honor-1 ed guests to a table heavily ladened with delicacies of all kinds, and more than an hour was spent at the festail board. A huge vase of gladiolus centered cen-tered the table the same kind of decorations dec-orations used when Mr. and Mrs. Borg . were married 25 years ago. Following the banquet the evening was spent in playing cards and other games. Mr. and Mrs. Borg were presented with a silver service set by their children and relatives attending the event. |
