Show i 1 MAYFIELD j NEWS ITEMS Mr. and Mrs. Magnus Ableen of Emery, who enjoyed a short visit here with relatives and friends, returned re-turned to their home Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Oberg entertained enter-tained at supper Friday evening to Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Rosenlund, Mrs. Christena Rosenlund, and Mr. and Mrs. John Rosenlund of Spring Valley, Val-ley, Nevada. Miss Thelma Littlefield of Manti, spent Saturday and Sunday visiting with Miss Alice Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Hansen, who have been living at Twin Falls, Idaho, this summer have returned home. Mrs. Oscar Nielson entertained at a quilting "bee" Thursday evening. Fifteen ladies were present. A hot supper was served at 11 o'clock. Denver Oviatt of Cleveland is here visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Christiansen. Clinten Christensen, Lester Hansen, Han-sen, Edith Willardsen, Alice Olsen, and Leah Christiansen left the early part of the week for Salt Lake where they will attend the teachers' Institute.
