Mr. and Mrs. John Rosenlund, of .Scl'.i.'ilbourne, Nevada, have been visiting vis-iting with Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Anderson An-derson for the past ten days. i ' She will be here from six weeks to two months and will renew acquaintances acquaint-ances with her eld Gunnison friends. Mr. and Mis. Elduii Eroadhead of 1 Murray, are here as the guests of Mr. an 1 Mrs. A. V. Sanderson. Eldon is seeking the festive deer while Mrs. Erjadhead is enjoying a visit with her parents. Mr. and Mis. A. E. Sorenson of Eureka, motored from the mining camp last Saturday. Mr. Sorenson returned Sunday and Mrs. Sorenson will be here for two weeks visiting with friends and relatives and look- ing after some business matters. Mis. Charlotte Villard, instructor at the Washington school, left for Salt Lake Tuesday. She stopped over a day at Mt. Pleasant to visit with her daughter, Betty, a student at the Wasatch academy. Mrs. Villard will attend the convention of the Utah Educational Ed-ucational association which meets at the capitol city this week. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Pence, and infant in-fant son, Donald Robert Pence, arrived ar-rived from Los Angeles last week. They motored from the Southern California Cal-ifornia metropolis and expect to spend a week or ten days visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Duggins. Mr. and Mrs. Aymer Peterson of Richfield, spent last Sunday as the guests of Mr. Peterson's mother, Mrs. C. M. Peterson. Mis. C. M. Peterson has returned -from Ricl.fi, eld, where she spent a week as the house guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Peterson. Mrs. M. W. Smith of Salt Lake, was here for a few days' visit with her sister, Mrs. C. M. Peterson, last week. Mrs. Smith was enroute to Los Angeles. Miss Neva Murphy of Salina, who was the house guest of Mrs. A. J. Thompson last week, returned to her home at Salina Sunday. ! Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Tietjen and daughters of Monroe, were guests at ! the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Beauregard last Friday. jj Miss Laura Ferre left Wednesday to attend the annual convention of ; I the Utah Educational association Mrs. Pence was formerly Miss Luzon Beck, daughter of Mrs. Duggins. Mrs. J. S. Peterson delightfully entertained en-tertained at an afternoon party Tuesday, Tues-day, complimentary to Mrs. J. H. Erickson, who will leave shortly for Colorado. Progressive Five Hundred was the diversion and in the contest honors were awarded to Mrs. J. M. Knighton and Mrs. Erickson. Delicious Delic-ious refreshments were served to sixteen six-teen guests at one-thirty. which is being held at Salt Lake this week. Mrs. Norval Crane of Salina, was here Tuesday to attend the funeral of the infant baby of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hackwell and Mrs. Leah Beck, came down from Ephraim Tuesday to attend the, funeral fu-neral of Willis Dean Christensen, the three-months old baby of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Christensen. Vernon Sorenson, who spent the past summer in the Fish Lake mountains, moun-tains, where he had charge of a large band of sheep, is at home for a month's visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Sorenson. Miss Mary Fredrickson went to Salt Lake this morning where she will spend a week visiting with friends. Word has been received here that Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Hoff, former residents res-idents of Gunnison, were made happy by the arrival of a fine baby bay at their home. The Hoffs are residing at Salt Lake. Mrs. G. D. Peery entertained at a Mali Jongg party last Saturday afternoon. after-noon. Luncheon was served at one ' thirty to eight guests. Mrs. J. W. Jones and J. B. Roper were visitors for the honors at Mah Jongg. Mrs. Sarah Martin is here from her home at Los Angeels, for an ex-i ex-i tended visit to friends and relatives. |
