The Coolidge-Dawes automobile caravan, which had been widely advertised to pass through Salina, was routed "over .the hill" and both republicans and democrats, as well as children and in fact most everybody and everything ev-erything were sorely disappointrd because of the routing of the caravan. car-avan. Politicians visiting vis-iting this section are in deep wonderment wonder-ment at the attitude of the voters because be-cause of the disappointment.
