Show Mayfield Doings. (Special Correspondence.) Mayfield, Feb. 23. Misses Dora and Rhoda and Marion Anderson entertained en-tertained at a Valentine party Thursday Thurs-day night of last week. For the occasion oc-casion the rooms were cleverly decorated de-corated in red and white. A most delightful evening was spent in playing play-ing cards and dancing. The guests were: Gladys Cliristensen, Arvilla Larson, Leah Nielson, Geniel Lund, Carrie Toland, Josie Larson, Blanch Anderson, Albert Stenberg, Rulou Whitlock, Oliver Hansen. Ander-son. At 11 o'clock the hostess and host served a delicious luncheon, being assisted by Miss Gladys Anderson Ander-son and Miss Rhoda and Alta Scow. Mrs. Marsden Gribble, of Gunnison, Gunni-son, is spending several days here with relatives and friends. Mrs. Ferd Rosenlund entertained the Social Circle club at her home Tuesday evening. Needlecraft and nusic were the features of the evening. eve-ning. Delicious refreshments were served at ten thirty. Mrs. P. M. V. Anderson and Devon, De-von, left for their home at Ephraim last Saturday morning. Miss Eliza Lyman is home from the Snow Normal college for a brief visit to her parents. Men and teams are busy hauling brick and other material for the new public school building for May-field. May-field. Mrs. C. Hennington is visiting with ! her daughter, Mrs. E. C. Scow. |
