Show Gunnison Will Respect Late President During Obsequies Tomorrow Gunnison will pay respect to the late Warren G. Harding during the funeral services which are to be held at Marion, the president's home, tomorrow between the hours of two and 3 o'clock Mountain time. The postoffice, banks and general business houses will be closed and Governor Mabey has asked by proclamation, the suspension sus-pension of all transportation, telephone and telegraph service for one minute. Citizens, too, are urged to hang mourning wreaths on their residences and places of business. Sunday, August 1 2, has also been set aside as Warren G. Harding Hard-ing Memorial day in all churches throughout the state are urged to keep services in keeping with the spirit of the occasion. During the week and since he death of the president, flap., at the postoffice, city hall and other buildings, have been floating at half mast and all of Gunnison has joined in sorrow and mourning for the late president. |
