Show WE BELIEVE IT i Premier Baldwin, of Great Britain, declares that affairs in Europe could have been straightened out and peace and quiet would be the rule over there today if the entire matter of adjustments had been in the bands of business men instead of politicians and private interests whose sole object in keeping nations stirred up is to reap a harvest from war materials. We believe it. We've seen enough partisan legislation in our own country to know that about two-thirds of the muddles this country encounters could be quickly and satisfactorily satis-factorily settled if their settlement was in the hands of business men instead of professional politician. And we are also firm in the belief be-lief that every time a critical situation comes up and the people become be-come more and more acquainted with the cheap tactics of these professional politicians the nearer it is bringing us to the point where the chronic office-seeker will e forever condemned and business men put in the law-making and administrative branches of our government. |
