Show PROMINENT YOUNG COUPLE y ARE UNITED IN MARRIAGE Miss Eve Madsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Madsen, and Elmer El-mer Peterson, a prominent young farmer of Centerfield, were the principals at a wedding Thursday afternoon af-ternoon of last week. The ceremony was performed at Manti by Bishop Peterson and in the presence of the parents of the contracting parties. Immediately following the ceremony the bride and groom returned to Gunnison Gun-nison where an informal reception was. held. At the home of the bride's parents Thursday evening a wedding supped was given Mr .and Mrs. Peterson. Pet-erson. Those present were members of the two families and numbered about forty. Following the supper a social evening was enjoyed and the bride showed her elaborate array of wedding gifts, which were numerous and beautiful. Mr. Peterson, the groom, is the step son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jensen. He is widely known throughout through-out the valley as one of the thrifty and prosperous farmers. The bride is a native of Gunnison and has been a student of the High school of this city. They will make Gunnison their home and Mr. Peterson will follow his vocation. The newlyweds have hosts of warm friends here and throughout the valley and all will join in wishing them happines and prosperity on their matrimonial voyage. |
