Show TilOPiG UUVJS By Vicki D. Syrett 679-8687 vickidiane36hotmail.com Many people attended the viewing and the funeral for Dean Wintch. Erma Wintch and her family were grateful to the those who came to share their love and pay their respects to the family. They included her children chil-dren and their families: Dean and Sharon Wintch, Elk Ridge; Don and Valerie Grimmer, Orem; Le Roy and Paula Hughes Chandler, Ariz.; the Merrill Woodbury, Scottsdale, Ariz., Jim and Hannah Goulding, Cedar City, Royce and Suzann Griffin, Midland, Tex.; and Garth and Barbara Stanger from California. Also Nhere to support the family were V.jn and JoAnn Oueson and family from Salt Lake City as well as the family of the late Herman Pollock. Dean will be missed by many and thought of often. Our condolences to the family. Jack and Mae Chynoweth welcomed their family as well. Evan and Carolyn Chynoweth, St. George; Deanna and Scott Linford. Magna; Christine and Jim Milne, St. George, Randa Kay and Bobby Joe Ott, Tropic; and Cheryn and Allen Anderson, Grants Pass, Ore.; were all here to show their respect and love for Dean. Many of the grandchildren grand-children were also here to support sup-port their families. Lindsey Pollock and McKoye Mecham have both graduated into Young Women's in the Tropic Ward of the LDS Church. Good going girls and good luck in Young Women. Betty Wintch had surgery at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and she is doing very well and hoping to be able to come home soon. LaRae Pollock is still staying at the Utah Valley Hospital Guest House and is also looking to the time she can come home. We send our love and wishes for a quick recovery to both ladies. Our thoughts and prayers are with them both. Carl and Kay Shakespear had a visit from two of their children and their families. Kara Kunz came from Laramie, Wyo., and brought her two sons Kayd and Rhett with her. Bryant and Maryanne Shakespear came from St. George and had their two sons Jacob and Clay with them. They had all decided this was the time to come home for a last summer visit before the snow falls (we hope). It is always fun when family comes home to visit, especially the grandkids. Arthur and Vicki Syrett had four of their granddaughters staying with them for a few days. Erin and Jaram Syrett, daughters of Allen and Tammi Syrett; Cambry Jensen, daughter of Mike and Stacie Jensen of Enoch, and Jo Anna Jensen, daughter of David and Debbie Jensen from Central Valley, all came to visit. On Saturday, grandma decided to make it a girls day out and they all went to the Garfield County Fair and to lunch. They had a great time, but it sure makes you know you are not as young as you keep telling yourself you are. It was fun anyway. Now they are on the way to deliver a grandson, Alex Frahm, son of Karen Frahm, home so he can start school. He has been visiting with Allen and Tammi Syrett. It will be so quiet with them all gone home. Joshua Cox has received a release from his doctor and is ready to go on his mission. He received his call to Los Angeles, Calif, and will leave on Sept. 4. |
