Show asmisviuG nous By Wynona Henderson 679-8560 We had a real nice rain shower show-er this week. Everything looked and smelled so fresh. It missed Cannonville and a short few minutes in Tropic but the lightning light-ning and thunder hit hard and knocked Doug's Place gas tanks out of use for a few days. Visiting Rae Smith were Margo Smith and Heather Larsen and three boys of West Wendover. Rae also went to Spanish Fork for the weekend to visit her sister and brother -in- law Elnora and Reid Williams. Ernie and Wynona Henderson spent a day at Panguitch Lake and gathering fire wood. Nathan and Lori Piatt welcomed wel-comed a new baby boy on Aug. 14. He weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces and was 21-12 inches long. He will be named Ethan Joel and has five siblings to welcome wel-come him. The couple made a trip to San Diego, Calif., for the wedding of Lori's sister Anne Doud to George Soares. The newlyweds met at Northwestern University in Chicago. Sure seems strange to hear the school bus already picking up kids. Can summer really be winding up? Ernie Henderson took people to Panguitch on Thursday for Care & Share and on Friday to Escalante. Wynona visited Cal and Martha Schow and Connie Jepsen and inspected their new room addition. Cal and Martha Schow of Escalante, Ernie and Wynona Henderson and Doyle and Joan Jackson spent an evening out, enjoying dinner and visiting. Colby Olsen, son of Candy' .
