Show Antimony News From page 2-A their summer home. The Elder Sorensons and their son, Paul Sorenson and wife and son of California, were here on Sunday. Michael and Natalee Porter have moved from their trailer into the old Nad Riddle house as he will be the new manager of the Rockin R. Natalee's family has been here helping them move. Koye Willis has turned eight years old so she was baptized by her father at the Circleville LDS Chapel. Garth Roberts celebrated his birthday Sept. 9. Seems he must be getting younger each year. Kristine Kendall is the LDS church magazine agent. Don't forget to contact her. Dustin Shaw is attending Sevier Valley Tech this year and he and Chace Brindley travel together. Shannon and Julie Allen attended at-tended the Hale Family Theater in Wayne County to see the "The Rainmaker". Also attending were George and Bernice Jolley and Ted and Karma Jolley. Judy Fielding spent a few days in Cedar City visiting with her family. Rosa Lee Wheeler was taken to Garfield Memorial Hospital as she had been complaining of dizziness, diz-ziness, etc. Hope she will soon be home. Scott and Tracy Peterson were here for the weekend with her family, the Phil Aliens. Jerry Von Kaenell was here bringing supplies to the Antimony Merc. The Kerry Bloods, Gunnison, and the Brian Bloods, Richfield, were here visiting their parents, the Afton Bloods. Tiffany Newby and her husband, hus-band, St. George, have been here for the archery hunt and stopped by the LDS church for meetings Sunday. Katie Jourdain, her husband and son were here visiting over the weekend. The rain is over and now the farmers are gathering up their black hay or are cutting hay. Hope this weather lasts a few days. The Calvin Polls were here for LDS Sacrament meeting on Sep. 13, as their two sons were the speakers. Jeremy Poll is getting ready to go on his mission and KC is just home from his mission (See ANTIMONY on page 4-A) Antimony News From page 3-A in Argentina. The Damn Jolley family of Las Vegas, Nev. was here over the weekend to stay with the Ted Jolleys. Ken and Mary Hill are in Branson, Mo. to sell their home there and they are buying one closer, in Henderson, Nev. Our LDS Relief Society, Primary Pri-mary and Young Womens Leadership Lead-ership meeting was held on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at Cir-cleville. Cir-cleville. Several of us have been going for doctor appointments up north. Must be the time for our fall checkups. Some people think they are overworked because it takes them all day to do a half day's work. Ned and Coy Gleave Burr are here at their summer home for a few days." Rosalie Wheeler is meeting her daughter Helen who is coming from Cincinnati for a visit. It is nearly time for Rosalie Wheeler to return to Arizona for the winter. We will miss her but we know she will be back next summer. Ray and Ruth W. Pace have been vacationing at Yellowstone National Park but are back in Leeds. He will be bringing their trailer back to Antimony for the fall season. Burns Black has been having a little trouble with his legs but is up and getting better. |
