Show 80th Birthday For Georgie Cuff PANGUITCH Georgie Owens Cuff will celebrate her 80th birthday with her family and friends in Salt Lake City at Historic His-toric Wheeler Farm on Saturday, Apr. 26. Georgie was born on Apr. 30, 1917 to Joseph Owens and Ruth Dodds Owens of Panguitch. She is a direct descendent of Utah pioneers and weighed only three pounds at birth. Georgie credits her life to school teacher and mid-wife Jane LeFevre. She married Adrian Blaine Cuff of Marysvale and he died in May of 1987. Georgie was extremely active in the LDS Church, serving as Relief Society president, visiting teacher, and Primary and Sunday School teachers. She is an outstanding home-maker home-maker and is involved in quilting and taking care of her family. Georgie is the sister of six siblings: sib-lings: Jack Cuff (deceased), Lola Barton, St. George; Sarah Brady (deceased); Norma Owens (deceased); Betty Brown, St. George; Ted Owens, Texas and Wayne Owens, Salt Lake City. She has 37 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. |
