Show The family of Bob and Marilyn Lifferth of South Jordan joined the Gary Johnson family for the holidays. holi-days. Ed Franz and Maggie Magee aie back after visiting with Ed's folks in Indiana and Maggie's folks in Ohio. Many local folks traveled to Cedar City for shopping and for medical appointments. Jim and Rae Smith had some of their grandchildren grandchil-dren staying with them. Thora Partner is improving but will have to stay off her injured leg for another two weeks. She will stay with daughter Marilyn Beard until she is well. Riley and Bobbie Miller joined other family members in Panguitch for a special Thanksgiving. With turkey, they had pheasant and pickled pick-led quail eggs. They have gone to Arizona where they will spend the remainder of the winter. The Darreld Neilsons and Alfred and Toni Foster attended the marriage mar-riage of Ann Niddager Littlefield. The family is currently living in Blanding where Ann has employment employ-ment with the school. Andy and Shauna Mortensen traveled to Animas, N.M., where they visited Andy's parents and other family members. The Relief Society invited ev- eryone on Wednesday evening to a delicious Christmas dinner, with bunko following. Doris Liles spent several days in Escalante with the Jeris Liles fam-ily. fam-ily. Clement and Marie Broderick were in Orem for a medical appointment. ap-pointment. While there, they visited vis-ited Thora Partner. Lula Moore received word that her two grandchildren, children of Steve and Kathryn Neilson, were injured slightly in a North Ogden traffic accident. Lula has a new great-grandson, bom to Mike and Kathy Murphy of Clearfield. Doyle and Kathryn Neilson are the Sunset grandparents. Darreld and Marylou Neilson had Dale and Tiffany Morgan from New Mexico here for a visit. Tiffany is a foster daughter to Darreld and Marylou and they were delighted to see Dale and Tiffany's daughter Tal-isa. Tal-isa. Heath Piatt, son of Ken and Ar-toise Ar-toise Piatt, captured first place in his weight division in the recent wrestling meet in Escalante. He was one of two voted Most Valuable Valu-able Wrestler. Relatives and friends were saddened sad-dened by the death of Kim Palmer of Page., Ariz., from a form of cancer. Kim's parents are Verl and Rose Palmer. |
