Show mm. mm m By Marta Peterson i The Bryce Canyon housing area is looking quite festive with the Parson's beautiful Christmas outdoor out-door lighting glowing in the dark and all the Christmas trees lit up and shining brightly through the various windows. The Clyde Stonaker family traveled trav-eled to Ft, Collins, Colo, to spend time visiting with Clyde's parents and were able to celebrate Thanksgiving Thanks-giving together. It was a special time of Thanksgiving since a friend, Donald Sutherland, was released re-leased from his hostage ordeal and flew home to Ft. Collins. The Jerry Robker family will have a special holiday season that will continue on because their son and his family have moved from California to Cedar City and now visits will be on a regular basis. Marta Peterson hosted the third annual cookie exchangeluncheon at her home for all the Bryce Canyon National Park families. The guests outdid their previous gastronomic contributions and this year's cookies cook-ies were fantastically superb and delightfully de-lightfully varied. Everyone went on with their day full of Christmas cheer and Christmas calories. The Garfield County Emergency Medical Technicians' dinner, held this year at Ruby's Inn, was exceptional excep-tional because of the great food and the special company. Our county's EMTs volunteer their precious time to help their neighbors in medical need. It is nice when their efforts are recognized and applauded. Jerry and Debbie Cantu took an overnight trip to Las Vegas to take Debbie's mother, Dottie Partenhei-mer Partenhei-mer to the airport for her return trip to Wilson, N. C. Helen Reynolds kept their two children so the parents par-ents could accomplish all the Christmas shopping without the children being aware of the special presents being bought for them. It is so nice when neighbors lend a helping hand to each other during this hectic Christmas season. |
