Show By Harriet Priska 826-4810 "Spring is a matter of signs" my grandmother, Olivia You, once wrote signs like the greening willow trees, joyous yellow forsyihias, and the apricot blossoms that have thus far escaped a killing frost. It is also a time to burn weeds and clean up inside and out! A joyous time of new beginnings and time for me to wish you Happy Easter! The Lions Club reminds us all that they are always collecting eyeglasses eye-glasses in any condition. They can be left at the Moqui Motel for Susan Su-san Cottam or with Kent Robinson or any of the Lions Club members. Marlene and Klyn Haws went to Salina recently to visit daughter Jon and Jillyn Sorensen. While there they attended a local production of "Little Abner" in which grandson Brandon Haws had the leading role. Marlene also reports that her mother, Fon Meccham, is feeling better that she has in years and really re-ally appreciates all the visitors. |
