Show NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE THE NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER SALES, DIXIE NATIONAL FOREST, BLUE SPRUSE AND HELLS BACKBONE SALES, located within T32S, R2E, Section 36, SLB&M, Garfield County, Utah. SEALED bids will be received by the District Ranger or his authorized representative, at the office of the District Ranger, Escalante Ranger District, Escalante, Utah, at 2:00 p.m., local time, on Friday, June 15, 1984, to be followed immediately by. oral bidding for total estimated 428.6 MBF ponderosa pine, more or less, marked or designated for cutting. Bidding will be conducted in the following order: (1) Blue Spruce Timber Sale: 207.5 MBF dead, 80.14 MBF live ponderosa pine. Bid guarantee, $600.00. Minimum total lump sum acceptable bid $11,004.28. (2) Hells Backbone Timber Sale: 71.53 MBF dead, 69.37 MBF live ponderosa pine. Bid guarantee, $300.00. Minimum total lump sum acceptable bid $5,829.39. The quantities estimated above are final and not subject to adjustment, except for additional trt es which may be designated for cutting, because of damage in logging, clearing of roads, or minor changes. All included timber shall be given domestic processing. Bidders are advised that violation of the domestic processing requirements constitutes breach of contract and may result in contract cancellation, or suspension from bidding on future sales. NOTICE OF SALE Notice is hereby given that the United States of America, acting through the Farmers Home Administration, will sell at public sale, by sealed bids. The property description may be examined at the county FmHA office. Such property or any part thereof, is offered for cash or terms of not less than 10 percent down payment, with the remaining balance amortized over a period of not to exceed 25 years, Including interest upon the unpaid balance at the rate of 10.75 percent per annum. Sealed bids must be made on FmHA Form 465-10, which forms are available from the Farmers 'Hoine'Admiriistration at their office s at! 225 East Center Street, Panguitch, Utah. There must be attached to each bid a deposit of not less than 10 percent of the bid in the form of cash, Cashier's Check, certified check, postal money order, bank draft or purchaser's check made payable to Farmers Home Administration. Third party checks are not acceptable. Sealed bids for all or any part of the property will be received at the Farmers Home Administration Office, 225 East Center Street, Panguitch, Utah until 2:00 p.m. on June 8, 1984, and will be at that time publicly opened.
