Show Boulder Town Park Geta 4New Look9 in Program BOULDER - CETA workers helping to build Boulder park really care about their job and incorporate ideas and work hard to see the job is completed in the best possible way, said Boulder Mayor Vivian Crosby. Steve Gessig and Jack Lyman are dedicated to refurbishing the Boulder School to be used for & community Center. They have built and painted nine picnic tables and benches, two of which are child size They have built ladders, painted the inside of the school, built shelves, fixed the ceiling and land scaped the yard The outside has been painted and the building has been rewired with 220 lines going into the arts and crafts room Dirt has been leveled and lawn planted and the soft hall diamond has bee built They plan to build a pole backstop in the softball diamond, put a pole fence around the park, build a drinking fountain and bonfire pit out of rock Funds have been applied for to build a tennis slab and buy playground equipment. When completed, the park will be a meeting center for residents of Boulder and a tourist attraction |
