Show Boulder News I LeNora LeFevre Gary and Madlyn Haws went to Salt Lake City for Madlyn's appointment with her doctor. Vivian Crosbys sister, Elaine Caner and children Susan and Matt are visiting at the Crosby home. Memorial weekend was a homecoming for family, relatives and friends who enjoyed the barbecue and rodeo sponsored by the Boulder Ward. Shawn and Melanie Chris tensen, Claudia and Camile Roundy were at their mother Elaine Roundy 's home. Kay and Merle Coombs and four sons were at the Anthony Coombs home. Dot's mother Fay Alvey, sister LaVee and brother Jim Alvey and families spent some time at their home. Reed and Ruth Thompson came with daughter Evelyn and son Douglas of Salem were here. Dr. Hermon For be and friends of Southern California are on vacation at his ranch in Salt Gulch. Kem and Julia Mem mott of Bountiful, his son Delan and wife Jerrie and family, her daughter Linda and their grandchildren came for the weekend camped at Calf Creek Park. Paul and Marie Wilson Helper of Cedar City visited with her brother Bruce Wilson and family. Jim and Aleen Haws, of Roosevelt, daughter Kim Dean, her husband Bill and son spent the weekend with Neal and Fay Jepsen. Aleen's parents. Jack and Ema Osborn from Teasdale came to see them. The missionaries Elder Phillip Barnson nd Elder Henry were the speakers at sacrament meeting. A large crowd was present. Oneta Shurtz of Salt Lake City, her nephew and wife and Nethella Woolsey were here. Val Jean Haws is at his parents home the Leland Haws. Ann and sons stayed in Escalante for the Porter reunion. Lavern and Mary Griffin of Escalante, Eldon and A.nber Griffin, Kanab, ana Jimmy and Jolyn Peterson and three daughters of Spanish Fork were here for the celebration. The descendants of the late Francis and Hazel Lyman held their reunion at the recreation center in Boulder. Among the crowd that came were Lavor and Edith Issacson and his daughter Lola, Dale and Shona Rasmussen of Salt Lake City ; Douglas and LaRue Wentworth, son Glenn and wife Nancy, son Kirk and wife Terri and baby, Loya Gubler and family, St. George, Mr. and Mrs. Opel Spencer, Lincoln and Alice Ann Lyman, Escalante; Kent and Mary Ann Lyman, Wyoming; Ned and Marilyn Ariz, Salt Lake City; Jack Lyman, Truman, Leona, Ivan, Dorothy, Alice and Kirk, Boulder and other family members made a total of 72 present. Laura Preston, Vickey Peck and Wesley Roundy graduated from the Escalante High School May 27. Both the east end road and Hell's Backbone road are open. Wild flowers and all bushes are in bloom. |
