Show Tropic Topics Ella Adair RMM A stork shower for Teressa Mecham was held last Thursday. Melanie Ott and NaKole Richards were the hostesses Mr and Mrs Harmon Shakespear and Clara Johnson were in Salt I,ake City during the past week for medical checkups. Mr and Mrs Gail Miles and children spent the weekend with the Arnold Ada in. Margaret Mecham (Mrs. Lowell) is in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City recovering from surgery Malen Littlefield is in the St Marks Hospital in Salt Lake recovering from surgery Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Shakespear made a trip to Salt Lake City so Vern could have more treatments. The Lady Lions will meet tonight at 8 p.m. Elections will be held. All members are asked to be present. Mr. and Mrs Arnold Adair, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jolley and Mr and Mrs. David Frost attended the Lions Zone party in Panguitch Saturday. Roy Chlarson was in Salt Lake City on business and getting supplies. The Ray Littlefields had their friends, the Rowleys, from Huntington, Utah visit with them for two days during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Lanny Littlefield and children are visiting with the Norman Littlefields Amplus 1eFevre had her sons Weldnn and Kenneth and daughter Gaya and families home over the weekend Mr and Mrs. Ursel Ott were in Spanish Fork visiting their daughter and attending a family reunion this past weekend Mr. and Mrs John Redford were at the Lowell Mecham home and attended graduation exercises in the high school. I)is Gregory had her parents and two sisters visit with her the forepart of the week The Westport High School Band from Anaheim, Calif and their drill team, presented an excellent program in the high school Friday Mr and Mrs. Weldon Sudweeks and family spent the weekend with the Lynden Sudweeks family, Lynden also came home for Allyson's graduation exercises. The Alton Shakes pears had their daughters Mary Jo, Coleen and Jeanette, and sons Bill and Jay and their families home over the weekend Nancy Bales and daughter are visiting with the James Thomas'. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Willis visited the Lester Clarkes. The Clarkes went on to Wyoming for the weekend to visit with the Sherrill Lamb family. Sharron and Chris White were visitors at the Clive Bybee home Debbi and Jim Miller were to the stan Mechams Mr and Mrs Jack Miller to the Melford Ahlstroms Jane Sudweeks Is visiting with her daughter Dellis IeKevre in Panguitch Verdella and Minnie Nielsen and Hay and Violet Littlefield were in Cedar City. Roine Raugh had her daughter Marlene and son IjiVel home for the weekend LaPreal Wilson and family visited with the Leland Pollocks at Bryce. Maureen and Ron Reid and children are visiting with the Larvin Pollocks For the first time in fifteen years the children of Silas Munson were all together during the Memorial Day weekend Present for the dinner were Mr and Mrs Ray Munson, Mr. and Mrs. Will Shakespear, Delma Day, Mr and Mrs. John Munson, Albert Munson and Marie Southcott, from out of town and Mr and Mrs James Munson and Mr and Mrs. Si Munson of Tropic Grandchildren present were Mark and Patti Munson and Joann Topham and family. The Earl Jolleys spent the week in St. George The Dar Smiths and children were visitors at the Earl Jolley home. Kent and Betty Lou Wintch and David Woodbury were visitors with the Charley Wintchs Fonnette Rarney visited with her mother Elitabeth Rarton this past week. Her oilier daughter, Floriene Barney , also came to visit with her. Mr and Mrs l.iV.u IxFevre spent a few days with his mother Flora 1eFevre, and did some work on 'heir rental home in Tropic Mr and Mrs Norman Barton and Michele Torres and family were at the Ioral Barton home Thelma Jolley and son Doyle and family were in Trop.c.
