Show Area Obituaries Wnfr fvs Lois Mae Hatch Loll !Y1a Hatch Lois Mae Hatch, 76, Panguitch, died May 21, 1978, in a Panguitch hospital of a bean attack She was born Feb. 19, 1902, Panguitch, to William H and Lois Crosby Tebb She was married to Houston Hatch, July 14, 1921, Panguitch; solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an avid genealogist and was active in all LDS Church auxiliaries. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers and charter member of the Panguitch Literary Club She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Survivors: husband. Panguitch; sons, daughters, George H , American Fork; Ira William (Bill). Panguitch, Mrs Keith (Ua Mae) Crabb. Las Vegas; Rulon W , Lubbock. Texas; Emma Gean Paris, Canoga Park, Calif.; 13 grand children; 17 great -grandchildren; brother, sister, Stanley Tebbs and Mrs. Jessie Cherrington, both Panguitch Funeral services were held Saturday in the Panguitch Second Ward chapel with Bishop Carl Farnsworth, conducting Rulon W. Hatch offered the family prayer and Flora Wright played prelude and postlude music. Carl Hatch offered the invocation Speakers were Laurel Holman, Faye Worthen and Bishop Farnsworth. Music included selections by the choir; selection by the Chantilly Ladies; selection by Barbara Heaton, Karran Harris, Barbara Orton. Devon Owens gave the benediction. Burial was in the Panguitch City Cemetery by Neal S Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Howard Hatch offered the dedicatory prayer Pallbearers were Wayne Crabb, Ronald Dague, Russell Hatch, Ross Hatch, Ron Hatch and Dan Talbot Leland s. 1 1 n - BOULDER - Leland Smith Haws, 68, Boulder, died May 29, 1978, in a Panguitch Hospital He was born Feb 18. 1910, Boulder, to Henry Jason and Maud Elsie Peterson Haws He married Golda May Campbell. Salt Lake LDS Temple He was a prominent farmer, stockman and churchman He served 23 years as bishop of Boulder Ward and was past president and board of directors member of Garkane Power Assn. Inc., for many years He was past member of the Boulder Town Board, past president of Boulder Grazing Assn and past president of the Boulder Irrigation Co He was a past employee of Bureau of Land Management He currently served as a member of Escalante Stake high council. Survivors: widow, Boulder; sons, daughter, Val Jean, St. George; Gary Wayne, Boulder; Mrs. Dean (Beverly) Tucker, Midvale; seven grandchildren; brothers, sisters, Otto. Boulder; Jim, Roosevelt; Mrs. Heber ( Neda ) Poulson. Mrs Neal (Fay) Jepson. both Boulder; Mrs. Jess (Ila) Winn, Richfield; Mrs. Bill Genevieve) Weir, Pittsburgh, Pa. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Boulder Ward chapel where friends may call after 12 noon. Burial will be in the Boulder Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield. |
