Aug. 7 Open House Will Honor Roxie Chynoweth HENRIEVILLE Roxie Chynoweth will celebrate her 80th birthday anniversary Aug. 7 at an open house from 3 to 7 p.m. at her home in Henrieville She was born Aug. 9, 1897, in Virgin City, to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Campbell. She was married to Harvey Chynoweth. He died Sept. 25, 1963. She has been active in the LDS Church, serving as president of the Relief Society in Henrieville for 12 years; president of the Primary and a Sunday School teacher. She has been active in civic affairs. Mrs. Chynoweth continues to raise a garden and many flowers in her yard. She is the mother of 10 children, nine living; Mrs Virgil (Nelda) Jolley, Payson; Leland, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Frank (Lula) Moore, Ralph, Wade, all Henrieville; Jack, Gene, Iropic; Mrs. John i Katie) Morton. Farmington; Mrs Golden (Roxanne) Johnson. Clearfield; brother, Reo, Eatonville. Wash. She has 52 grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. |
