Show ESCALANTE This year's Pioneer Day celebration in Escalante was reigned over by four beautiful ladies, the rodeo queen and her attendants, Michele Liston, Center, quern; Nancy Beebe, left Joy Griffin. Events covered all aspects of Pioneer Hay. LDS Education Program Readied in Escalante ESCALANTE-The LDS Church Educational System Continuing Education program will be brought to Escalante Saturday at Escalante Stake Center beginning at 1:41 p.m. according to David Adams, chairman. The program will be presented for the complete family with few boing $5 per family, $3 individual and $1 for each student. Ernest Eberhard, Jr , and Lynn McK inlay will be the main instructors Mr. Eberhard was born in Stuttgart, Germany and reared in the Boise, Ida. area. He received his BA and MA from Brigham Young University. He was awarded an honorary doctorate of humanities in 1909 from BYU Mr. McKinlay was born near Itexburg, Ida. He has a matter's degree from Utah State University and is a former bishop and high councilor. Mr McKinlay is the author of three looks.
