Show CannonvillG Betty Henderson 8798392 The snow of last week is melting. Leaving behind it all the mud to be tracked in. The days are sunny and still quite warm for this time of year. Vaughn and Mae Twitchell had all their chidlren at home recently. While they were here they all went on a Christmas tree cutting outing. Ramona Fletcher went to St. George Temple on Friday. The Marion Littlefields were Sunday dinner guests of Joe Hughes. Maxine was also at home for the weekend. A surprise birthday party in honor of Mandy Fletchers birthday was given by Beatrice Dutton and Arma Stock. Also attending were Julia Elmer, Betty and Zelda Henderson. Mandy says she is still having birthdays because you are as youngas you feel and she still feels pretty young. Jon Henderson visited his parents, Betty and Elmer Henderson. Infant daughter of Mrs. Shirleen Collins was blessed and given the name of Megan at Sacrament meeting on Sunday. The Dutton ladies went to Cedar City to take Jodi back to school and to do some shopping. Relief Society sisters learned to make macrame at the monthly work meeting. Some of the sisters worked on quilts and Ada Thompson gave the lesson on family health. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Dutton came from Fredonia to see the basketball game between Fredonia and Bryce Valley on Friday night. Dean was playing on the Fredonia team. Food for thought; Oh, what a tangled web do parents weave when they think that their children are naive. |
