Show Area Obituaries David H. Venter PANGUITCH David Ruland Veater. Panguitch, died Dec. 6, 1975, In an airplane crash east of Beaver while on duty with the Utah National Guard. He was born May 27, 1951, Panguitch, to Ralph 11 and Darylene Davis Veater. He married Jill Owens, Aug. 13, 1971 St George LDS Temple. He was employed by Kaibab Industries In Panguitch. He was president of the Panguitch North Ward Sunday School; former secretary of the Elders Quorum; member and former oiticer of the Garfield County Sheriff's Jeep Posse; sergeant in the ammo section, Beaver Unit, Utah National Guard. Survivors: wife, son, Rhett David, both Panguitch; parents, Panguitch; brothers, Wallace, Daryl, Robert, Jeffrey, all Panguitch; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Davis, Panguitch; Ruland Veater, Kirkland, Ariz. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Panguitch North Ward chapel. Friends may call at the home of his father from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Panguitch City Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, with military honors by Service Battery Two, 222nd Field Artillery, Utah National Guard, Beaver. Steven K. Moore PANGUITCH Steven Kirk Moore, 23, Orem, died Dec. 6 of injuries suffered in an airplane crash near Beaver while on duty with the Utah National Guard. He was born Sept. 13, 1952, Panguitch, to Kirk Q. and LaVenda Reid Moore. He married Kristine Jones, March 6, 1975. Manti LDS Temple. He was a graduate of Panguitch High School and attended Southern Utah State College, Cedar City and Utah Technical College in Provo. He was an elder in the LDS Church and active in the Orem 30th Ward. He was employed by Christiansen Brothers Construction Co. as a carpenter. He was an active member of the Utah National Guard. Survivors: wife, Orem; parents, Panguitch; sister, Cynthia, Salt Lake City, brothers, Galen, Kevin, both Panguitch; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Reid, Mrs. Eliza Moore, both Panguitch. Funeral services were Wednesday in the Panguitch North Ward chapel with Bishop Carl Hatch officiating. Lorin V. Jones offered the family prayer and Iren McEwen and Hope Truman played prelude and postlude music. Vermon Barney offered the invocation. Speakers were John Allace Yardley, Iletta Reid, Bishop John Crofts and Bishop Hatch. Music included selection by the choir; selection by Gordon Reid, Carol Ann Spencer, Rosemary Christensen and Iletta Green and selections by Dick Excell. Bruce Owens offered the benediction. Burial was in the Panguitch City Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Donald Whittaker offered the dedicatory prayer. Military rites were conducted by Service Battery Two, 222nd Field Artillery, Utah National Guard, Beaver. Pallbearers were Kevin Jones, Royce Jones, Russell Jones, Dwaine Or ton, Birch Moore and Ron Webb. Honorary pallbearers were Gaylen Moore, Kevin Moore, David Houston, Steven Dodds, John Burton Crofts, Bud Dexter, Jack Wilson, Ken Austin, Tom Baker, Kenny Orton, Denny Orton, Ron Hatch, Lanny Talbot, Rick Burningham, members of the Beaver Guard unit. C. Ellis Le Fevre G. Ellis LeFevre, 81, died December 4, 1975, in a Salt Lake City rest home of causes incident to age. He was born September 19, 1894, in Spry, to George and Margaret DeLong LeFevre. He married Ida Hope Myers Blackburn October 8, 1921. She died March 17, 1969. He was a member of the LDS church. He was educated in the Minersville schools and worked as a rancher for 35 years for the Murray Sheep Company. He served as a fireman in the U. S. Navy. Mr. LeFevre is survived by: three sons and five daughters; Douglas Blackburn, Minersville; Tom, Craig, Colo.; Dyke M., Hooper; Mrs Roldo (La Rue) Turner, Milfu d; Mrs. Elmer (Margie) Johnson, Adamsville; Mrs. Frank (Shirley) Terry, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Sumner (Gae) Murdock, Beaver; Mrs. Jean Kanell, Salt Lake City; 28 grandchildren: 36 greatgrandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Sisters, Mrs. Horace (Madge) Carter and Mrs. Armina Banks, both of Minersville; Mrs. Lorin (Celesta) Thompson, Eureka; Mrs. George (Winnie) Young, Richfield. Services were held Monday, December 8, 1975 in the Minersville Ward Chapel. Interment was in the Minersville City Cemetery under the direction of the Metcalf Southern Utah Mortuary. CARD OF THANKS Thanks to Kaibab Lumber for the use of the highster and their drivers for helping to put the Christmas lights up on main street In Panguitch. Thanks to H&R for the use of their equipment and driver to help out on the wind blown decorations. We really couldn't put the Christmas tree decorations up without their help.
