"Let it bo," M. Fallleres Fal-lleres replied. "It will ho n good find for tho waiter," and ho whispered to thnt porson to look for tho monoy Later M. Fallleres was seen to let t 2-franc pleco slide gently to th floor. Ho thought ho was not obsorv ed, but when questioned explained that ho had discovered that It wai only a copper which ho hud dropped on to tho floor In tho first place, anc thnt ho d.d not want to disappoint the waiter.
