Dear Sir: At u meeting of the Garland Commercial Commer-cial Club, Unlit in Us rooms at Garland. Utah, on March liith., the undersigned were instructed to coruinunlcHtu with you to ascertain whether or not we could I expect a littlu better passenger service in the near future It has been currently reported that your company expected to put oti a tnotur car between Malad City and Brlgham City, said car to leave Malad in the morning in time to connect with your Cauhe Valley train No. 12, which teaches Salt Lake about noon, The motercur also to connect with your Cache Valley train No. 11 at Brlgham City in the evening which leaves Halt i Lake Clly at 4:05. A service of this T" character would bo very satisfactory to the people here as it would give us an opportunity to tnukc a round trip from here to Salt Luke in one day, and give us sonv.'thing like four hours In fcialt Lake in which to transact business. We were also requested to ask if you could not arrange to sell through tickets from Salt Luke to points on the Malad Valley Hallroad via Ogdeu and Corinne. At present coming via till route puvscn-gcrs puvscn-gcrs are obliged to buy a ticket from aalt Lake to Ugdeu over the O. S. L. and one from Ugdeu to Corinne and still another from Corinne to points on the Malad Valley Hallroad which Is, to say the leust, very inconvenient. Kindly take this mutter under consideration consid-eration and do what you can foruH. Very respectfully, Mokiah Evans, U.L.Uuth, Anst. becy. |
