He left the territory over a month ago for Ilailen, Idaho, (Teton Bas:n,) where he and his three brothers are improving ranches and farms an enterprise in which they have been engaged for four years past, to assist in tiie summer work, and at the same time recuperate, as his health was failing him. As yet he has, perhaps, per-haps, not heard of the rumors, as his father, 15. W. Driggs. Sr.. of Pleasant Grove, received a letter from him, day before yesterday, written i'i his hap; est style, detailing the amount of we: that had been d -ne, aud speaking in glowing terms of the prospects of the futuru, and stating that he expected to return to Sal: Lake this month and straighten up and attend to all of his business matters. D is doubtless a fact that the young man is involved through speculation, and is embarrassed with some debt. It is expected that Mr. Driggs, Jr., himself, will have a denial and refutation refuta-tion of the charges published w hen he returns to the tenitorv. |
