Gustav and his wife, Berith, moved to Bluebell from Salt Lake City in 1980. They came originally from Sweden to Salt Lake City with their respective families in 1948 and 1949. They met in Salt Lake City after their immigration here. They were married in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple 1950. Memorial services were held in the Altamont Stake L.D.S. building on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, at 12:00 noon for Gustav Arne Carlson, with Bishop Kelly Goodrich officiating. Cleona Remington, who was born in Spring City, Utah, on Dec. 28, 1911, died at her home in Bluebell, Friday, November 13, 1998, at age 87, with her two daughters, Cheryl and Jean, and her four sons, Kent, Garth, Phil, and Don by her side.
