Kent and Dccdle Olsen traveled this weekend to Layton where they attended church with their daughter Kirn and her family. Kims husband was also ordained an elder. Shawnett Hamblin and her sisters recently spent some time in Albuquerque NM. The trip was only fur girls and they had a ball. for Neola 1st Ward will be held Dec. 3 at the church. Roosevelt 7th Ward homemaking will be held Dec. 1 at the church, and Xenia 2nd Ward homemaking will be held Dec. 10 at the church. Attention parents: School break will start Nov. 25, and the children will return to school Dec. 1. The flu is going around in Neola. FI u shots are available at the Health Department or at UBMC in Roosevelt. Dont get sick. Nettie Duncan and Fern Peterson have been ill. Get well soon. I.ee Nielsen recently attended an educational seminar at Snowbird for teachers aides. Garth and Sonya Anderton had a few visitors this week. Kit and Marrylec Anderton and their daughters came from Salt Lake City for 3 days so they could attend the Holly Fair last week. Congratulations to Douglas Kosendahl and Tiffany Olsen who were married Saturday, Nov. 21. If you have any news to report please call Mondi Taylor at Hoax-makin- Robert Evans and Pamela Thacker. Darlene Thomas and her two sisters, Betty Hancock and Coleene Sly, both of Roosevelt, flew to Pleasant CA to attend the funeral ofV ckie Page, age 52, daughter of Frank and Vangie Morrill. She passed away after a long struggle with cancer. Her funeral was held on the weekend. Logan Thomas of Centerville has been spending time with his grandparents, Vaun and Darlene Thomas. Pauline Herreras brother, Eddie Salazar, passed away in Hayden, Colorado. Pauline and her sons drove to Hayden to attend his funeral. Don Lee has been in California to visit with his sister Ada who has been ill for some time. On Friday, Nov. 15, 15 friends of Tami Mullins met at Cowans Cafe in Duchesne to help celebrate her birthday. She wouldnt tell her age so she must be 19 and holding. Tami's folks, George and Lola Rapich of North Salt Lake, came to spend a few days. Romanza Hamblin of Salt Lake City came to spend the weekend with her mom, Betty Hamblin. The Christmas Light Parade will Building. Santa will be there for the kids. The Mothers Club meeting for Nov. 5 was held at the home of Lorraine Harrison with Tamara Angus and Pam Brown as Marie Spencer conducted and welcomed bur new member, Margie VanTassell, and our special visitors Wanda Smith and Amanda Jensen. Tami Mullins presented the program on making holiday gift trays and other Christmas ideas. There were 20 present. Artamesia Mecham and her daughter Barbara Rowley drove to Orangeville, Utah to visit with Richie and Jana Burdick and to welcome their new baby girl, Alexis Elizabeth. She was born on Oct 23 in Price and weighed 7 lbs, 6 oz. Baby Alexis has two brothers at home, Bo and Dalton. Her grandparents are Keith and Barbara Rowley, Duchesne, and Keith and Maurine Burdick, Ephraim, Utah. are Artamesia Mecham, Duchesne, and Fern Burdick Roosevelt. The monthly meeting ofthe Amer- - ican Legion Auxiliary, Duchesne Unit 22, was held on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at the American Legion Post Home. All regular meetings are scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month. The recent meeting was called to be held in Duchesne on Dec. 5. After the parade there will be hot chocolate and doughnuts at the Blue order by Unit President Shirley Burdick, and minutes were read by Sue Wilde, secretary. Members were reminded to pay their dues. The subject Parliamentary was discussed. The annual bazaar and dinner will be held on Dec. 11, and proceeds will be used to benefit childrens programs. Winners in each grade are as follows: st grade: 1st place, Bradley Williamsen - sleeping bag blanket; 2nd place, Ben Willard shoe flashlight; 3rd place, Dallin Winterton - anywhere basketball; and Honrable mention, Jalesa Smith. 2nd grade: 1 st place, Mallory Fisher - glove & hat organizer, 2nd place, Patrick Lemon - rocket launcher; 3rd place. Sierra Reidhead - spoonstick; and honorable mention - Robina Wilkerson, Jade Smith, Kamille Hacking, Haily Liddell. 3rd grade: 1st place, Suclyn Heaton - Magnetism fun; 2nd place Stuart Brighton - Rememberlet; 3rd place, Joshua Roberts - water balloon alarm clock; Aleesha Bussell.
