Washakie, WY; brothers, Aaron Poowegup, Neola; DeVere Manning, St George; sisters, Albertina Poowegup, Ft. brothers, Steven and wife, Amanda Loftis, Roosevelt; Paul Loftis, Thomas Loftis, both in the US Marine Corp, Camp Pendleton, CA; and Johnathon Loftis, Roosevelt; 1 niece; lots of aunts, uncles and cousins from all over the country, including Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, California, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Mississippi and Colorado. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998 at 3:00 p.m. at the Hullinger Olpin Mortuary where friends may call Tuesday from 8 p.m. and Wednesday from Duchesne; 3 Farrer, Roosevelt; Sadine Chimburas, Ft. Duchesne; Venita Taveapont, Ft Duchesne; Melissa Chegup and Matilda Myore, both Sunshine subdivision; and Delphine Colorow, SLC. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alletta; and 2 brothers, Garrett and Ernie. Graveside services held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Nov. 23 at the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery under the direction ofthe Hullinger-Olpi- n 6-- 1-- Zanpher p.m. to her family. She especially her nine grandchildren. She loved loved the out doors, and riding her four wheeler in the mountain!. She also loved going to the Jazz games. She waa a very special lady and has touched more lives then she could even imagine. In Karen's behalf the family wishes to offer out heart felt gratitude to all the friends, family and neighbors that have helped with this time. The phone cars, visits, talks, hugs, and prayers meant more to her than anyone knows. Karen is survived by husband. Mack; four sons and their spouses, Ken (Liza), Larry (Shelli), Wayne (Jodi), Brian (Jamie) and the light of her life, her nine grandchildren, Kyle, Whitney, Tanner, Rylee, Morgan, Jaycee, Megan, Madison and Trint; two brothers, Karl and Paul Lund and both of their families; one brother-in-law- , Ferril Jacobson; son, sisters, Cleo Peterson, Violet Merkley, Blanch Taylor. Funeral services held Thursday, Nov. 19, at 12 Noon at the Tabiona LDS Church where friends may call from am. Burial in the Tabiona Cemetery under direction of the Hullinger Olpin Mortuary. Jane (Gary) Sandy, Utah. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens. H. Loftis Harold Dean Loftis, age .16, of Roosevelt, died November 20, 1998 of a tragic accident. He was born Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, 1981 in Liberal, Kansas to Edward W. and Carla Peek Loftis. Harold was a student at Union High School. He liked to was talented motorcycle and enjoyed hand work --- art, tinkering and mechanic work on cars, construction projects - music, water skiing, and sports especially Elna Jorgensen Stoddard Row - E. Row Elna J. (Stoddard) Row, 88, our dearly loved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away Nov. 22, 1998, in the Lakeview Hospital of causes incident to age. She was bom May 25, 1910, at Hyde Park, Utah to Elmer and Annie (Cook) Jorgensen. She moved at an early age to Southern Utah, then to the Uintah Basin in Utah. Member of the LDS Church. She married Raymond S. Stoddard on Aug. 14, 1929. He died Jan. 17, 1941. Later employed by the Remington Anns Plant in Salt Lake City, Utah and transferred to the GE Hanford plant in Richland, Washington. She married Oliver W. Row on March 16, 1957. He died Feb. 2, 1974. In 1982 she moved to Aberdeen, Idaho to be near her daughter and later moved to Bountiful, Utah. She enjoyed a special talent in journalism. Hobbies included photography, reading, crochet, country music and square dancing. Survived by two daughters: Lorna (George) Davis of Bountiful, Utah and Louise (Keith) Duffin of Aberdeen, Idaho; Sister, Rose (Richard) Olsen of Neola, Utah; 9 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by grandson Justin Davis, both parents; brother, William Jorgensen; sisters, Ruth Fredrickson and Margaret Wallis. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, 11:00 a.m, in the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. His family moved to Utah in 1989, and moved to Roosevelt from West Valley in 1993. He was born Nov. 30, 1962 in Lander, Wyoming to Antoine and Alletta Chegup Engavo. Jess, among other things, was a firefighter. He liked the challenge and being of service to his fellow men. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and especially liked spending a lot of time with his nieces and nephews and grandson, Avery. He Karen died Nov. 12, 1998 after a courageous battle with cancer, while surrounded by her loving family. Karen was bom Jan. 9, 1943 to Jewell Dale and Emil Weinrich Lund. She married her companion in life, Mack Jacobson of Altonah, Utah on Nov. 9, 1962. They enjoyed 37 years together. Karen loved and devoted her life Nov. 19, 1998. Broadhead Bernice Jackson Broadhead, age 85, ofTabiona, died Nov. 16, 1998 in Stewarts Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was bom Jan. 24, 1913 in Lyman, Utah to Alpheus and Hattie Van Dyke Jackson. She married Delbert Broadhead October 20, 1937 in Heber City. She graduated from Bicknell High School, enjoyed handworkcrocheting, knitting, and quilting. Bemeice was a good gardener and homemaker and worked right along with Delbert on the ranch for much of their 61 years of marriage. She did a lot of service in the Relief Society, waa a cub scout leader, and long-tim- e member ofthe DUP, serving as registrar for 12 years. She was self taught on the piano and played for many years in the .old Utahn ward and for many other church functions. She is survived by her husband, Delbert, ofTabiona; two sons, one Roosevelt City Cemetery daughter, Brent J. (Delores) Roosevelt, Utah.
