Show SOLOS AND. MUCILAGE.'' A few years ago, says a writer in the Boston Herald, in Lebanon, N. K., there was a certain Mr. Baglcy who was noted! for trying to use big words, and also for getting his remarks re-marks somewhat twisted. On a certain cer-tain occasion he had 'been to a farmers meeting in Hanover, and, while returning, re-turning, one of his neighbors drove, up behind him, and the conversation turned on crops. His neighbor asked: "How is your hay crop this season?" Baglcy replied: "Well, my hay crop is rather short, but I shall get my bow through the winter all fight, for I shall have the two solos full of mucilage." |
