Show 2 newcomers vie for Centerville mayor post Price said he has no specific opinion on commercial development for the city, but in general believes the residential areas alone are not a sufficient tax base for the city. He feels, however, commercial should fit into the overall plan of the city. Councilman Robert M. Arbuckle, 52, 555 E. 10th South; Marlow L. Fisher, 67, 460 N. Main; Norman R. Wright, 50, 480 E. 9th South, and Gardner Duffin, 44, 1284 Nola Circle, are the council candidates. Arbuckle, owner of a local heating business, has served four years on the city council and was a member of the Utah Legislature for eight years prior to that. He is running for reelection because he would Like to help develop a recreation facility including a swimming pool and he would like to see a good program for developing a base of industry and commercial areas. Centerville is a growing city and its right now that critical decisions have got to be made. Im glad to be a part of it, Arbuckle said. Arbuckle said the city needs to do something about inadequate streets. He has been in charge of the water department while in office and said that department is in excellent shape.
