Show Ametc Industries Doubles Earnings Amtec Industries Inc the Spanish Fork based company which officers claim has grown into the nation s largest producer of encapsulated herbs, reports that its total sales for the third quarter of 1978 were $2,391,227 as compared with $1,601,140 during the same period last year Third quarter earnings were $120,962. or eight cents per share, as compared to $57,279. or four cents per share for the third quarter of 1977 learnings for the first nine months of 1978 are $324,216. or 21 cents per share, as compared with $163,737. or 11 cents per sharr recorded for the same period last year Amtec s President Kenneth E Brailsford. cited increased sales coupled with reduced costs as the prime ingredient of the company's increasing financial strength this year.
