Pett, works engineer. Boyd C. Branson of Murray has been promoted to staff engineer, Zane S. Taylor of Orem to senior design engineer, and Fred C. Huff of Springville to design engineer. Mr. Branson holds a BS degree in civil engineering from Utah State University and a masters degree in engineering science from Brigham Young University. Named designer in the engineering department in 1955, he was promoted in 1965 to senior design engineer, the position he leaves for this most recent appointment. Mr. Branson was on a leave of absence from Geneva Works from 1965 to 1967 during which time he served a term in the Utah State Legislature. A graduate of the University of Utah with a BS degree in mechanical engineer, Mr. Taylor began his service in 1953 as a detailer in the engineering department. In 1955 he was promoted to designer and, subsequently, to staff engineer and design engineer, the position held at the time of this present pension plan and take the contributions as a tax deduction!
