Utah, 1982 Obituaries Political Analysis conomy Plays Role in Election William Emsy Cook William Emsy Cook, 53, of Saudi Arabia died of a heart attack Monday, Nov. 1, 1982, Saudi Arabia where Mr. Cook had worked as a civil engineer for the Aramco Oil Co. He was a member of the LDS Church in the International Mission. He served in various leadership positions in the church and was serving in the branch presidency of the Has Tanura Branch, Saudi Arabia. He had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had worked in genealogy. Survivors include his wife of Saudi Arabia: one son and three daughters. Judson T. Cook, Ventura. Calif.; Mrs. John (Term Spencer, Mid-valDonna K. Cook, Provo; Leslie Anne Cook, Rome, Ga.; two grandchildren; one brother, David Cook. Detroit, Mich. while visiting the Provo area. He was born Feb. 7, 1929 in Manistique, Mich., to William Joseph and Donna Catherine Hollenbeck Cook. He married Reva Craven on July 17, 1954 in Orangeburg. S C. The marriage later was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. ' He received his education in the Michigan schools and was graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's in engineering. He had traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe and the Middle East because of his work. Kenneth Whitney Lewis and Richard Benson Lewis, all of 67. of Provo, died Monday, Nov. I, 1982 in her home. She was born Sept. 27. 1915 in Ogden to Willard Haskel Orem; Emerson Nephi and Carile Redd Shurtliff. She married Dr. Joseph P. Lewis Jr. on Sept. 10, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was reared in southern Utah and later lived in Salt Lake City and Bountiful. She sang for 11 years with the LDS Tabernacle Choir, participated in numerous choirs and sang solos in church. She taught in all the auxiliaries of the LDS Church and was a genealogy teacher. She moved to California in 1S48 and then moved back to St. George in 1972.
