Assisting him is Mrs. Ann L. Spears who has been with the Chamber for 11 years and who acts as the office secretary, bookkeeper and receptionist. Mrs. Spears answers at, average of 20 letters a day from people requesting information about our area. These are divided into three bask categories: (1) students requesting information for school reports; (2) people moving or planning to move to Provo who wish pertinent information; and (3) people requesting tourist information. Total pieces of mail sent out during 1969 was 41,840. Mrs. Spears answers the tele-ponumerous times each day. Total telephone calls numbered approximately 7,268 during 1969. well-traine- ne Besides his duties as manager, Mr. Wotherspoon acts as secretary of the various committees. He also is a member of the Utah State Industrial Promotioc Commission and the California State Chamber of Commerce and Association Managers' past president of the Utah State Chamber of Commerce Managers' Association. Mr. Wotherspoon is a member of the Utah County United Fund board of directors, and secretary of the Holding Company. He has been an executive director in the Chamber of Commerce field for 20 years.
