Gary states, "We encourage people to recycle. Not only to get money (the customer) but to help save the environment." How does it work? Customers pull into the lot and onto a heavy-duty scale. After getting weighed, you take your material to the yard and unload. Come back and get weighed again and that determines the amount of money you'll make (paid by the ton for ferrous metal and by the pound for non-ferrous metal). Finally, come into the office and collect your cash! Customers are encouraged to bring in all types of scrap steel, appliances, car bodies, light metals, structural steel, stainless steel, radiators, brass, copper, and aluminum cans (which is the most popular item brought in for recycling). Remember! Help the environment and recycle with MCR Recycling today! The restaurant is owned & operated by Sandy Huff with the help & support of her husband Doug. They are longtime residents of Payson.
