Teerlink Teer-link Lee, age 96, passed away peacefully at her home in Springville, Utah, on March 22, 2008 surrounded sur-rounded by her loving family. fami-ly. Emma was born Aug. 18, 1911 in Rotterdam, Holland, to John A. and Gertrude Brouwer Teerlink, the sixth of eight children. She and her family immigrated to the United States when she was one year old. They settled set-tled in Salt Lake City where she grew up and attended high school and continued her education at Steven He-negers He-negers Business School. She spent many years working at Kresses in Salt Lake City and later worked at Chris-tensen's Chris-tensen's Department Store in Springville. Emma was a life-long, faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of .Latter-day Saints. She served as Ward and Stake Attendance Secretary, Relief Re-lief Society Counselor and President and as an ordinance ordi-nance worker in the Provo Temple. She was a visiting teacher for 45 years and gave many hours of service Landmark High moves to new school Landmark High School (LHS) is moved to their new building on Friday, Mar. 21, and began holding hold-ing class on Monday at the new location, 612 S. Garry Lee (Jane) of Pines-dale, Pines-dale, Montana; Leon E. Lee (Barbara), Dale G. Lee (Mary Lynn) and Kenneth J. Lee (Kathie), all of Springville; Spring-ville; 35 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers broth-ers and three sisters: Nicholas, Nicho-las, Leo, Joseph, Nephi, Marie, Ma-rie, Gertie and Esther. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Thurs-day, Mar. 27, in the Hobble Creek First Ward, 555 S. 600 East Springville. A viewing will be held Thursday, one hour prior to the services at the ward. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Springville. Lucile was born April 7, 1914 in Salem, Utah, to James Peter and Eff ie Ann Stone Christensen. She married her high school sweetheart, Wilbur Jay Smart, May 22, 1934 in the Salt Lake Temple. Lucile was a life-long, faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and homemaker.
