Hostak came back into the picture last night with an impressive im-pressive one-round ' knockout of Georgie Burnette, Detroit's Negro Ne-gro midd 1 e w e i g h t champion. Showing no evidence of being gun-shy after his terrific beating by Zale last July, Hostak put Burnette on the floor three times, the last one for keeps, after one minute, 50 seconds. Zale had all the fight he could handle from the- tough national sruard sergeant. Mamakos was ahead on points when Zale first dropped him in the 13th round. In the 14t'h, however, he was helpless. Zale drove him about the ring and finally nailed him with a right to the head. Mamakos Mama-kos sagged in his own corner, rolled over on his back and did not stir as Referee Tommy Gil-more Gil-more counted over him.
