Show Wed/Thurs/Fri, July 28-30, 2010 C-7 The Park Record ArtVentures in film I Art-Kids to host ; camp for young I filmmakers Park City Mountain Resort Main Street Submitted by Lola Beatlebrox Easy Street Artists from the Salt Lake Youth City Artways program will serve as the creative staff of Camp ArtVenture, the fiveday art camp offered by ArtsKids Aug. 2-6 at Park City Mountain Resort. Dance choreographer Hillary Van Moorleghen and film animator Kerri Hopkins will combine their talents to lead the children in making an animated film in which the students will become the animated characters. The week will culminates with a live performance and students will bring home a DVD to their parents. Campers will also be part of a "karaoke extravaganza," which will feature music artist Debbie Middlebrook teaching the art of song. Face-painter PHOTO COURTESY OF ART^KIDS Local nonprofit Arts-Kids will offer a film-focused camp for kids ages 8 to 12 at Park City Mountain Resort Aug. 2-6. from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the ski school building at Park City Mountain Resort.
