PARK CITY HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS'SOCCER TRYOUTS Park City High School will be hosting girls' soccer tryouts Aug. 2-4. They will be held at Quinn's Junction Sports Complex fields, from 8 to 11 a.m. each day Athletes are required to bring a ball, running shoes, soccer attire and water. PCHSTO HOLD BOYS' GOLF TRYOUTS AUG. 9 Golf tryouts will be held on Monday, Aug. 9, for all students in grades 9 through 12 this year. FOUR SEASONS PLANS FLY-FISHING FESTIVAL The Four Seasons Fly Fishers of Utah will be host to the Heber Valley Fly Fishing Festival 2010 on Aug. 14 at the Johnson Mill Bed & Breakfast Inn in Midway from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free to the public, and includes casting clinics, on-water nymph clinics, dry-fly clinics, and catch-and-release techniques. Participate in the casting competition to win one of several prizes. Raffle tickets will also be available, and catering will be provided by Tommy's Texas BBQ. Korzun named dietician Submitted OFFERS TRAIL HIKES Basin Recreation will be offering guided hikes on its vast trail system, two times each month. Basin Recreation staff will instruct participants on proper trail etiquette, safety issues and trail knowledge. Kids are welcome, but not strollers or dogs.
