Her techniques can help people recover from injuries or surgery, improve range of motion or address chronic pain and stiffness. Young and old people alike can benefit from exercises and treatments to prevent injury, she said. "You can have the full gamut coming to your house," she said. Kahn said she's proud to offer a convenient service because it's difficult to get work off or find a babysitter for a two-hour session. When the session comes to you, there's no excuse, she said. I,' Recycle child car seats Did you know that car seats for infants and young children have expiration dates? About six years after manufacture, you need to replace your child's car seat or booster. The expiration date is stamped on the seat, usually on the bottom. Car seats and booster seats have expiration dates because the materials degrade over time, weakening their effectiveness in a crash. OK, so now what do you do with that big hunk of plastic, straps and metal? At least 90 percent of car-seat material can be recycled. Though recycling options were nonexistent just a few years ago, now car-seat recycling drives are taking place all over the U.S. in Colorado, Oregon, Washington and Park City! Recycle Utah has been collecting child car seats for more than two years with the help from all of the volunteers at the center and members from the Park City Fire District Recycle Utah has diverted more than 300 car seats from the landfills. This is the largest collection program in the country and the only one that runs year round. Thanks to the support from an AutoNation Grant and the generous support from the community, the Child Car Seat Collection program continues to grow. Cail the center for more details at 435-549-9698. These Green Tips are brought to you by Recycle Utah, Park City's non-profit drop-off Recycling Center.
