Show 'Adopt a Rock' campaign set to help area youth B OUNTIFUL-In an effort to help kick off a successful fund raising rais-ing campaign for the new Youth Service Center in Farmington, and other programs which will benefit homeless, and runaway youth in Davis County, Clipper Publishing Company, has launched an "Adopt a Rock" campaign. The campaign is being conducted in cooperation with the Rock Foundation Inc. and the Utah Advocates for Parents and Youth-at-Risk. The hope is that many area residents, civic organizations, church groups and businesses will choose to "Adopt a Rock, and give a youth a firm foundation," said Gail Stahle, publisher of the Davis County Clipper. The Utah Advocates for Parents and Youth-at-Risk hopes to be able to purchase and refurbish the old reck hotel in Farmington and convert it into a safe shelter for at-risk youth. One member suggested that if each family in Davis County contributed only $5 to the fund, ' 'It would provide a fantastic base for trie entire program.
