Show Tingey joins Benchmark to assist families l I i i WOODS CROSS-Benchmark Regional Hospital announced that Carol Tingey, Ph.D., has become affiliated with the hospital's outpatient outpa-tient services. Dr. Tingey specializes in issues common to men and women including in-cluding parenting concerns, especially espe-cially for single parents and combined com-bined families or those who have handicapped children. Dr. Tingey received her doctorate doc-torate in psychology in 1976 from the University of Utah. She also holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's in special education and training in neurodevelopmental therapy. Dr. Tingey has extensive experience experi-ence designing practical home and school programs for children with learning andor behavior problems. She treats depression, eating disorders, dis-orders, life transitions and interpersonal interper-sonal relationship problems. Dr. Tingey is an invited speaker to various groups across the country and abroad. Her presentations are factual, current and entertaining. She uses life experiences and combines com-bines the latest scholastic knowledge knowl-edge and research with day-to-day practical experiences. Many of Dr. Tingey's speeches are about various aspects of parenting paren-ting and are given to professional and parent audiences. Other seminars sem-inars presented by Dr. Tingey provide pro-vide information about combining careers and personal lives. Dr. Tingey is listed in "Who's Who in American Women" and in "Who's Who in the World." She has authored several books about parenting, child development and intervention strategies and serves on the editorial advisory board for two journals.
