As a 1990 Utah Honor Young Mother, Yvonne will have many opportunities this year to share her creative talents and writing abilities to encourage and support other young mothers in their role as mothers. Yvonne Dalton Stewart was named a 1990 Honor Young Mother Saturday by American Mothers Inc. at its annual convention conven-tion held at the Salt Lake Hilton. Yvonne and her husband, Bruce, ire the parents of three children and live in Bountiful. She has been a member of American Mothers for three years and served as a chapter leader for the last two. Yvonne has worked for the city of Bountiful for five years, served as a Primary president in the Bountiful 33rd Ward, taught a neighborhood preschool, pre-school, and currently serves as a Cub Scout Committee Chairman. Yvonne enjoys writing and is a member of the Bountiful Chapter of the Utah League of Writers. She began her college studies at Brigham Young University with a dual major in dance and homefamily development. Although Al-though she acquired a dance scholarship, schol-arship, she ultimately earned her bachelor's degree in home and family development. Having a family and being a mother is important to Yvonne. "As a child," Yvonne explains, ' my family was very close.
