Show Gasser receives Eagle Ryan Walter Gasser, 15-year-old son of G. Walter and Katie F. Gasser, received his Eagle Scout award last show "no trace camping. Ryan would like to thank his parents and especially his scoutmaster, scout-master, Alan Hess, and his varsity coach, Marvin Blosch, for encouraging encourag-ing him along the Eagle trail. week, in a special Court of Honor witli the Bountiful 49th Ward Troop ' 156. He is an avid ' scouter and has earned 34 merit badges and plans to earn his Bronze, Gold and Silver Palms Awards. Ryan is a ninth t i . grade student ai Mueller Park Junior High School and plays on the school basketball team. He served as : quartermaster, scribe and patrol ; leader in his troop. Other awards he has earned are his : Arrow of Light, Gospel in Action, Faith in God and On My Honor : awards. He has participated in scout camps I at Camps Mapledale, Tomahawk and . Steiner and has backpacked into the ; Wind River Mountains, Sawtooth ' Wilderness Area and High Uintas. Ryan's service project involved working with the forest service in ' restoring the upper Mueller Park Creek damaged by flood waters ; several years ago and destroying the fire rings on the trail between North ; Canyon and Mueller Park Canyon to |
