Show Davis County Sheriff to address citizens of Golden Years Center BOUNTIFUL-Wednesday, Feb. 14, Sheriff Harry Jones of Davis County will address visitors at the Golden Years Center regarding "Scams." A warning will be given to senior citizens to be on watch for things too good to be true. NARFE will be holding its regular monthly meeting Tues., Feb. 13. Vern Pickering will entertain enter-tain at the Golden Years Center Thursday, Feb. 15. The lunch menu at the center will be as follows: Monday, Feb. 1 2, Lincoln 's macaroni beef bake, president's peasmushrooms, honest tossed salad, Abe's orange wedges, Gettysburg Get-tysburg cheese roll and milk. Tuesday, Feb. 13, BBQ ground beef on bun, hash brown potatoes, buttered mixed vegies, confetti coleslaw, col-eslaw, applesauce date cake, dinner roll and milk. Wednesday, Feb. 14, honey baked bak-ed ham, angel augratin potatoes, lover s green beans, passionate pearl salad, sweetheart sugar cookie, romantic orange nut roll and milk. Thursday, Feb. 15, vegetable beef stew, seasoned whole potatoes, pickled beet and egg half, peach cobbler, buttermilk buscuit and milk. Friday, Feb. 16, presidential roast turkeygravy, George's favorite stuffing, never-tell-a-lie spinachlemon, vegetable salad, Washington's cherry pie, father-of-our-country dinner roll and milk. The Golden Years Center requests re-quests that you call 295-3479 to make your reservations for lunch which should be made the previous day. If you cannot drive, the Council Coun-cil on Aging van will be happy to pick you up. Another trip has been planned to Wendover for Monday, Feb. 26. Residents are encouraged by Dorothy Willey to "Bring a friend and come to the center and you will be surprised to discover how many you already know." |
