The purpose of the public hearing is to consider adopting adop-ting the West Bountiful Gateway Neighborhood Development Plan dated November 10, 1989. You are advised that: 1. At the joint public hearing, there will be an evidentiary hearing on the issue of whether or not your property is blighted. 2. As a result of the joint public hearing, the City Council and the Redevelopment Agency may determine deter-mine that each of the properties contained con-tained within the project boundaries is blighted. 3. As a result of the joint public hearing, the City Council and the Redevelopment Agency may determine deter-mine that each of the properties con-tamed con-tamed within the project boundaries is detrimental or inimical to the public health, safety, or welfare. 4. As a result of the joint public hearing and the subsequent adoption , of the proposed West Bountiful Gateway Neighborhood Development Plan, your property may be developed under this Plan, and if you do not appear ap-pear at the joint public hearing and present evidence of the non-blighted character of your property, there could be finding made that your property is blighted and detrimental " or inimical to the public health, safety, safe-ty, or welfare. 5. If the proposed West Bountiful Gateway Neighborhood Development Plan is adopted, each of the properties within the proposed project boundaries boun-daries may be targeted at some time in the immediate or distant future for redevelopment purposes. 6. Your property may be acquired for redevelopment purposes by negotiation or through the use of the power of eminent domain. 7. If the West Bountiful Gateway Neighborhood Development Plan is adopted, the Redevelopment agency, by statute, has the power of eminent domain on real property within the proposed project boundaries for a period of seven years from the date of the adoption of the redevelopment plan.
