Show Residents sing, dance, travel and recycle BOUNTIFUL-The Bountiful City Multi-Material Recycling program pro-gram will now also benefit the Golden Years Center. Bins for used materials have been placed at the City Center, 790 S. 100 E., across from the post office. There are containers for glass. The glass may be clear or colored. There should be no lids, and the bottles should be rinsed. Labels are okay. There are also containers for plastic, newspapers and crushed aluminum cans. The proceeds from the bins will be divided 50 percent for the Golden Years Center and SO percent for Bountiful beautification. Dec. 7 will be the Golden Years Center Sing-A-Long. Dec. 7 and 8 will be the 55 Alive classes. Make reservations at the center for future classes. NARFE will hold its monthly meeting on Dec. 12. On Dec. 13, there will be a Ladies' Trio from 12:30 to 1 p.m. On Dec. 15, a group of children will come to sing and dance at the center. AARP will have a special Christmas program on Dec. 18 at 1 p.m. There is also the monthly trip to Wendover. Seniors receive $15 in change and $5 in food. Reservations are necessary. The trip will be Dec. 19. Buses leave the center at 9 a.m. and return to Bountiful about 7 p.m. ' 1 |
