We are in desperate ijd of lights- Is something being A. Sloane pdase one of the University's Spheral road lighting program j j be started soon and be com-! com-! t(eij by fall. The first phase of ' le lighting of the peripheral road will commence on Hempstead Road at the tunnel by the Einar Nielsen Fieldhouse. The lighting will run east on Hempstead Road to Wasatch Blvd. to the Federal Way intersection which you asked about. These plans are being worked up with the State Highway High-way Department. The road is a state road. The state has expressed an interest in this and we should have lights installed some time in the late spring or summer, ready for use by the fall. Other road lighting projects are currently being planned for the University. To Post The graduating class of 1966-67 senior class gift to the Univershy was a set of Kiosks to be constructed con-structed around the campus so that different student groups and University departments could advertise ad-vertise the exciting happenings that take place on campus. These are long overdue. Is there any reason why they haven't been constructed sooner. The money has been there for over four years now. S. Beckstead You are right, the money has been there for four years. However, How-ever, the University has had some drastic remodeling to do before the kiosks were placed. The plans have now been completed for the construction of the kiosks. They will be placed this spring and be ready for posting by fall. The Campus Planning Department is very excited about this new program. pro-gram. We will be able to wander about campus and know what's happening, or at least have a better communication via kiosk. Second cup How come the coffee in the cafeteria is only available by the cup. The Union Food Service has some 2'i-cnp coffee bottles, but they are always dirty and even' time you go for a coffee break, you have to run back every live minutes for your second cup of coffee. 1 would probably spend twice as much money on coffee this week if there were enough bottles. E. Bebh The Union Food Service has over 300 of the bodies which you mentioned. Unfortunatley, we lose better than five of them a day due to breakage. Dave Moore, the Union Food Service Director, told Action Line he will order more bottles immediately to rectify this problem. Once upon a lime, there were enough bottles, but carelessness careless-ness resulting in breakage is the guilty party.
